Registered Nurse - Residential Aged Care, Broome

About the role

Southern Cross Care WA is looking for full-time Registered Nurses to join its residential care team at Germanus Kent House in the Broome region. The nurse leads small clinical teams delivering person-centred care to residents, with accommodation available. The advertised pay is $110,000 - $130,000 per year.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the delivery of client-focused care provided by staff.
• Assess the total health needs of clients and document the results thoroughly.
• Develop individual care plans in consultation with clients and their significant others.
• Comply with all relevant legislation and policies, and uphold the organisation's values and principles.

Required profile

• Valid AHPRA registration.
• At least 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse in aged care (experience is ideal but not required).
• First aid and CPR certificate.
• NDIS clearance, or willingness to obtain it.
• Interpersonal and communication skills, able to work in a team and independently.
