About the role

Sydney Local Health District is recruiting a Registered Nurse - Perioperative for Concord Repatriation General Hospital, a public hospital serving the local communities of Concord, Strathfield, Burwood and beyond. The nurse provides patient-centred care as part of a multidisciplinary team assisting with patient care during surgery, with a focus on the instrument circulating nurse role.

Key responsibilities

• Provide patient-centred care as part of a multidisciplinary team during surgery
• Work as an instrument circulating nurse with advanced skills in the perioperative field
• Work a rotating roster and participate in on-call requirements

Required profile

• Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA)
• Demonstrated understanding of evidence-informed practice and critical thinking
• Demonstrated commitment to person-centred care and NSW Health Core Values
• Full working rights within Australia
