Registered Nurse – Opioid Treatment Program (Part‑time)

About the role

The Registered Nurse in the Opioid Treatment Program provides high‑quality, person‑centred nursing care for individuals with alcohol or other drug issues. Working across a primary site and satellite locations, the role embraces trauma‑informed care and recovery principles.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver nursing care in line with NMBA standards and local health policies.
• Provide clinical support to patients using opioid treatment services.
• Maintain documentation and adhere to the Ministry of Health and NNSWLHD procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across primary and satellite sites.
• Promote trauma‑informed and recovery‑focused approaches in daily practice.

Required profile

• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
• Experience or interest in alcohol and other drug (AOD) treatment.
• Ability to work 16 hours per week on a permanent part‑time basis.
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, person‑centred care.
