Registered Nurse - Medical Ward 1

About the role

Albury Wodonga Health is recruiting an experienced Registered Nurse for Medical Ward 1, a 30-bed mixed medical unit specialising in stroke, respiratory and renal patients within the Medical Division. The position is a fixed-term role of 24 hours per week until 13 November 2027, with flexibility to balance work and life commitments and comprehensive learning and growth opportunities.

Required profile

• Registered with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (APRA)
• Australian citizen, permanent resident or holds working rights in Australia; sponsorship or relocation support is not available
• Ability to work as a team member in a multidisciplinary environment
• Understanding of and ability to practice within a quality and risk management framework
• Ability to describe and demonstrate the use of evidence-based practice
• Knowledge of clinical governance, patient-centred care, collaboration and sound clinical knowledge and escalation skills
