About the role
The position is for a Registered Nurse within the haemodialysis clinical setting, providing patient care and supporting quality improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Participates in design, planning, delivery and evaluation of patient care in haemodialysis.
- Maintains accurate patient records in medical systems and adheres to privacy policies.
- Reports incidents, hazards and improvement opportunities as part of quality improvement.
- Provides education to colleagues, patients and visitors and supports a safe working environment.
Required profile
- Registered general nurse with AHPRA and a current practising certificate.
- Demonstrated clinical competence in nephrology nursing or working towards it.
- Effective communication, teamwork and problem‑solving abilities.
- Self‑directed, able to reflect on practice and apply learning.
Required skills
- Nephrology nursing theory and practice.
- Computer literacy.
