About the role
Join a close‑knit Intensive Care Unit at one of Australia’s largest health‑care providers. As a Surgical ICU Registered Nurse you will deliver safe, evidence‑based care to patients with complex clinical needs, working within a supportive multidisciplinary team on rotating morning, afternoon and night shifts.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver safe, evidence‑based nursing care to surgical ICU/HDU patients.
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised care.
- Recognise and respond promptly to clinical deterioration.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain accurate documentation and clinical handover.
Required profile
- Recent ICU or critical care nursing experience.
- AHPRA registration.
- Recent clinical experience in an acute care or hospital setting.
- Ability to work unsupervised and efficiently during high‑demand periods.
- Strong teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills.
