Registered Nurse – Hospital-in-the-Home (HITH)

About the role

We are looking for experienced Registered Nurses to join our Hospital‑in‑the‑Home (HITH) division, delivering hospital‑level care directly in patients’ homes across Greater Sydney. The role is full‑time, operating seven days a week from 7 am to 3 pm, and offers the chance to work closely with individuals and families in a supportive, innovative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑on‑one clinical care to 4‑7 clients per day in their own homes.
• Deliver high‑quality, hospital‑level interventions, including IV therapy and complex wound management.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate treatment plans clearly to patients and families.

Required profile

• Minimum four years post‑graduate experience in a hospital setting, preferably in Critical Care or General Surgery.
• Current AHPRA registration (Division 1) and a valid driver’s licence.
• Strong patient assessment abilities and the capacity to work autonomously as well as within a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication skills to ensure patients understand medication, treatment, and care instructions.
