Registered Nurse – Home Care

About the role

The Registered Nurse will join Amana Living Home Care to provide high‑quality clinical care to older clients who choose to remain at home. This full‑time position works Monday‑Friday, 8:30 am to 4:40 pm, and collaborates closely with the Client Services Manager and the Clinical Team.

Key responsibilities

• Support the care of older persons living at home using a person‑centred approach.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive health outcomes.
• Advocate for and protect the rights of older clients.
• Maintain regulatory compliance with Home Care Quality Review and occupational health and safety standards.
• Participate in compulsory training, meetings and continuous improvement activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years post‑qualification experience in aged care or home care.
• Current AHPRA registration and valid Class C driver’s licence.
• Ability to work after‑hours, weekends and public holidays on a rotational basis.
• Physical capability to perform low to medium activity levels, with occasional higher intensity tasks.
• Successful completion of pre‑employment forms, reference checks and a paid 6‑day induction.

Required skills

• Proficient use of the Office 365 suite.
• Experience with client management systems.
