Senior Pharmacist – Cancer Services (Fixed‑Term)

About the role

The WA Country Health Service is seeking a Senior Pharmacist to lead clinical pharmacy services for cancer patients across regional Western Australia. This fixed‑term, part‑time position focuses on TeleChemotherapy, electronic oncology management, medication pathway governance and workforce development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and deliver clinical pharmacy services to cancer patients, including TeleChemotherapy support.
• Manage the Electronic Oncology Management System and related pharmacy ICT applications.
• Oversee medication pathway governance, safety, quality, risk and research/quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide strategic advice on cancer pharmacy projects and contribute to audit and policy development.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in clinical service planning, development and staff supervision.
• Specialised knowledge in oncology or haematology pharmacy practice and policy development.
• Strong communication, consultation and negotiation skills within multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated leadership and planning abilities.

Required skills

• Electronic Oncology Management System (EOMS) proficiency.
• Pharmacy ICT application management.
• Clinical pharmacy practice in oncology/haematology.
