Registered Nurse – Full‑Time Aged Care

Edgarley Assisted Living is seeking a full‑time Registered Nurse to join its caring team in Casterton, Victoria. This position offers flexible working hours and the chance to develop your nursing career within a supportive, community‑focused aged‑care environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver personalised nursing care in line with clinical policies, including medication administration, wound management, continence care and chronic condition management.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and ensure compliance with infection‑control, WHS and Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Supervise and mentor Enrolled Nurses and Personal Care Workers, fostering a respectful and professional team culture.
• Participate in accreditation processes, incident reporting and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Nursing qualification.
• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration.
• Valid National Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Minimum 2‑3 years of relevant nursing experience, preferably in aged care.

Required skills

• Medication administration and monitoring.
• Wound management and infection prevention.
• Assessment, admission, transfer and care‑planning for residents.
