Registered Nurse – Defence Health Facility

About the role

Serco is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver high‑quality clinical care to eligible personnel at Robertson Health Centre, a Defence health facility located on Robertson Barracks near Darwin. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, compliant, and compassionate care for both permanent staff and rotating US Marine personnel.

Key responsibilities

• Provide triage, assessment, and treatment for patients presenting to the health facility.
• Coordinate and supervise sick parades, including outpatient and inpatient care.
• Maintain accurate patient clinical records in electronic and paper formats in line with Defence policies.
• Manage clinical stores and pharmaceutical imprest supplies.
• Participate in governance activities such as clinical reviews, health surveillance, and auditing.

Required profile

• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
• At least 12 months full‑time post‑graduate experience within the past five years in acute care, primary health care, or a military setting.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver care according to professional standards, legislation, and Defence policies.
• Experience in triage and patient assessment.
