About the role

The George Town Hospital is seeking a Community Registered Nurse to deliver high‑quality nursing care within Tasmania’s public health system. You will work under the guidance of senior nursing leaders and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, implement and evaluate patient and client care in partnership with the healthcare team.
• Interact effectively with patients, families and other health professionals to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, research and evidence‑based practice.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to hospital policies.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse qualification recognised in Australia.
• Ability to work under the direction of a Nurse Unit Manager or Clinical Coordinator.
• Strong collaborative and communication skills.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and quality care.

• Salary range $80,524 – $109,175 per annum (pro‑rata) plus 12 % superannuation.
