Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular Care

About the role

Advara HeartCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its cardiology team and provide high‑quality care to patients with a variety of cardiovascular conditions. You will work across multiple sites, delivering non‑invasive cardiac investigations and supporting diagnostic procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Perform non‑invasive cardiac investigations such as standard resting 12‑lead ECGs, exercise stress ECG tests, and attach and analyse ambulatory Holter, blood pressure and event monitor tests.
• Assist patients during tests, providing professional, empathetic support.
• Prepare and administer Dobutamine IV infusions (training provided).
• Support CT Coronary Angiogram procedures and perform IV cannulation when required (training can be provided).
• Travel between metropolitan and regional sites as needed.

Required profile

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority.
• Passion for delivering high‑quality patient care and improving heart health in Australia.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient‑centred approach.
• Willingness to travel and hold a valid Australian driver’s licence.

Required skills

• 12‑lead ECG acquisition and interpretation.
• Exercise stress ECG testing.
• Holter, blood pressure and event monitor set‑up and analysis.
• Dobutamine IV infusion preparation and administration.
• CT Coronary Angiogram assistance.
• IV cannulation (training provided if needed).
• Use of Health Track electronic medical records (preferred).
