Registered Midwife - 5 East 1 Antenatal Ward

About the role

RPAH, a major tertiary and quaternary teaching and research hospital in Sydney, is recruiting a Registered Midwife for its 5 East 1 Antenatal Ward. The role offers permanent full-time and permanent part-time positions, with a focus on woman-centred, evidence-based midwifery care for women with complex pregnancies in a collaborative clinical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide woman-centred, evidence-based midwifery care that promotes identified health outcomes
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate midwifery care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Work in a collaborative clinical setting where professional development is strongly encouraged

Required profile

• Current midwife registration with AHPRA
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Values respectful, compassionate and individualised care for women and their families
• Australian work rights are required
