Registered and Enrolled Anaesthetic Nurse

About the role

Calvary North Adelaide's Anaesthetic Department offers permanent, part-time and casual positions for registered and enrolled anaesthetic nurses. The department has 7 theatres and 3 procedural rooms, giving exposure to a wide range of surgical and procedural specialties. The team is described as supportive, collaborative and professional.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate peri-operative nursing care with the multidisciplinary health care team to achieve positive health outcomes.
• Coordinate nursing and health care, working independently and interdependently and taking responsibility for your own actions, including delegation of care where applicable.
• Provide safe, effective and appropriate patient care in a patient-focused environment.

Required profile

• AHPRA registration.
• Recent demonstrated experience in a perioperative role is desirable.
• Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised way during periods of high demand.
• Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
• Demonstrated communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
