Regional Director – Central Australia

About the role

The Regional Director for Central Australia will lead Jawun’s partnership programmes across the Central Arrente country and the NPY Lands. Working from home in Alice Springs with regular travel, you will coordinate corporate and government secondments to support Indigenous‑led change.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain strong relationships with Indigenous partner organisations and community leaders.
• Deliver impactful secondments of talent from corporate and government partners to advance regional priorities.
• Plan and execute immersion activities that connect senior executives with the region for shared learning.
• Scope and prioritise objectives of Indigenous partners and communities.
• Produce timely, high‑quality data and impact reports.
• Manage regional budgets and track expenditures.
• Engage with corporate and government partners to secure ongoing support.
• Implement the Regional Partnership Strategy.

Required profile

• Background in community development, program and people management.
• Proven leadership experience with confidence, credibility and the ability to inspire teams.
• Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with Indigenous leaders and organisations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.

• Salary of $140,000 AUD per year, including superannuation, salary packaging and additional leave.
