Regional Clinical Pharmacist – Fixed Term (Esperance)

About the role

The WA Country Health Service (WACHS) Pharmacy Services is seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to provide hospital‑based pharmacy services across the Goldfields‑Esperance region. This fixed‑term, full‑time position runs until 19 July 2027 (with possible extensions) and supports safe, rational, and cost‑effective drug therapy for patients.

Key responsibilities

• Complete medication reconciliation for all admitted patients.
• Dispense medications to hospital patients.
• Provide drug information and advice to nursing and medical staff.
• Make independent therapeutic decisions to optimise patient care.
• Promote safe and cost‑effective medication use throughout the region.

Required profile

• Qualified Clinical Pharmacist with relevant experience.
• Eligibility to work in Australia (citizen, permanent resident, or appropriate visa).
• Willingness to undergo criminal records, integrity, and pre‑employment health assessments.
• Ability to perform the inherent requirements of a clinical pharmacy role.
