Refrigeration Technician – HVAC & Refrigeration

About the role

A regional service provider in Northwestern Victoria is seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to maintain and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems. The role is permanent and full-time, with competitive pay, career progression and varied HVAC&R projects, including after-hours on-call work.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair faults in HVAC and refrigeration equipment efficiently.
• Carry out preventive and scheduled maintenance on a variety of systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues accurately.
• Test and recommission equipment to meet safety standards.
• Engage with clients directly and coordinate with other trades on site.
• Support and mentor apprentices in developing their technical skills.
• Take part in an on-call roster for after-hours service response.

Required profile

• Certificate III or equivalent qualification in refrigeration or HVAC trades.
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults in refrigeration systems.
• Good communication skills for customer service and teamwork.
• Permanent residency status (no sponsorship or work visas available).
