Refrigeration Mechanic FIFO 2:2 Western Australia

About the role

Sodexo is seeking experienced Refrigeration Mechanics to join its Facility Maintenance team on a FIFO 2:2 roster across remote sites in Western Australia. You will perform maintenance and preventive work on residential, village and mine‑site facilities, often in extreme environments.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance and preventive tasks on refrigeration systems across various remote locations.
• Respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults and carry out repairs to ensure continuous operation.
• Collaborate with on‑site teams to maintain safety standards and service delivery.

Required profile

• Relevant trade qualification(s) and certificates in refrigeration or related fields.
• Australian citizenship or full Australian working rights.
• Ability to undergo pre‑employment medical, drug & alcohol testing and police check.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with commercial and domestic refrigeration equipment.
• Ability to work 12‑hour shifts on an 8:6 roster and maintain a good level of fitness.
