Recruitment Consultant – Assessment Design Specialist

About the role

Serco is expanding its recruitment team with a permanent, full‑time Recruitment Consultant based at Fiona Stanley Hospital, Murdoch. The role focuses on designing and delivering robust assessment and selection solutions for a wide range of positions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop structured interview guides, work‑sample exercises, presentations and assessment‑centre activities.
• Partner with hiring managers to identify and implement appropriate assessment approaches for each role.
• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment processes across multiple classification levels.
• Advise stakeholders on contemporary selection methodologies and continuously improve assessment practices.

Required profile

• Experience in recruitment, preferably internal, government or public‑sector environments.
• Proven ability to create assessment tools for diverse role types and levels.
• Strong stakeholder‑management and organisational skills with high attention to detail.
• Collaborative mindset and passion for delivering effective recruitment outcomes.

Required skills

• Experience working with recruitment systems and data.
• Ability to design interview guides, work‑sample tasks, group activities and assessment‑centre exercises.
