Recruitment Consultant - Assessment and Selection Specialist

About the role

Fiona Stanley Hospital in Murdoch, Western Australia, is recruiting a Recruitment Consultant on a permanent basis. The role manages end-to-end recruitment processes but focuses on designing and delivering effective assessment and selection activities rather than marketing and headhunting, helping hiring managers run their recruitment as efficiently as possible.

Key responsibilities

• Manage recruitment processes across a variety of roles within a hospital environment.
• Design assessment materials, including interview guides, work samples and group assessment centre activities.
• Partner with hiring managers to identify effective selection approaches.
• Provide expert advice on recruitment and selection practices.
• Support the continuous improvement of recruitment processes and tools.
• Facilitate training and group assessments.

Required profile

• 3-5 years of recruitment experience, ideally in an internal, government or public sector environment.
• Experience designing assessment and selection tools.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach and a genuine passion for recruitment and candidate experience.

What we offer

• Salary of $97.941.86 a year plus superannuation (negotiable depending on experience).
• Up to 12 annual leave days per year (single days or up to 5 consecutive), with 17.5% leave loading or an additional 3.5 days accrued each year.
• Option to purchase additional annual leave.
