Record to Report (R2R) Accountant

About the role

Davidson is recruiting, on behalf of a leading global organisation, an experienced Record to Report (R2R) Accountant. The role sits within an established finance function supporting financial reporting, commercial analysis and continuous improvement across the APAC region. You will help deliver accurate monthly financial reporting, provide commercial insights and drive improvements across finance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver month-end management reporting, including variance analysis and financial performance insights.
• Manage accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting in line with IFRS and internal accounting policies.
• Partner with Finance Business Partners to interpret financial results and support business decisions.
• Identify opportunities to streamline reporting, improve financial controls and enhance process efficiency.
• Support automation and continuous improvement initiatives across financial reporting and data management.

Required profile

• CA/CPA qualification or equivalent.
• Strong experience in management reporting, financial analysis and month-end processes.
• Experience managing business unit P&Ls and balance sheets.
• Sound knowledge of accruals, prepayments, reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, able to turn financial data into commercial insights.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with data visualisation tools.
