Radiologist – Breast Imaging Specialist

About the role

Lumus Imaging is seeking a FRANZCR‑qualified Radiologist to join the high‑end Lumus Imaging Clinic located within St George Hospital in Kogarah. The position offers a busy private‑hospital environment with a strong referral network and access to state‑of‑the‑art imaging equipment, including Australia’s first Siemens Alpha Photon‑Counting CT.

Key responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic reporting across breast imaging, CT, MRI, ultrasound, X‑ray and Tier A interventional procedures.
• Develop and grow a dedicated breast imaging practice supported by an established referral base.
• Collaborate with a nationwide RIS/PACS network for peer review, mentorship and subspecialty support.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety, quality governance and clinical documentation.

Required profile

• FRANZCR qualification with current AHPRA registration.
• Experience or strong interest in breast imaging and/or other radiology modalities.
• Excellent communication skills and a patient‑centred approach.
• Commitment to contributing to the growth of the private‑hospital service.
