Quarry Operator – Mobile Plant Specialist

About the role

Regional Group Australia is seeking an experienced Quarry Operator to join the team at Neerim North Quarry in Victoria. The role involves operating mobile plant equipment and supporting daily quarry activities in a safe and efficient manner.

Key responsibilities

• Operate front end loader, dump truck and excavator to move material.
• Perform daily pre‑start checks on all plant and equipment.
• Carry out regular maintenance and report any issues.
• Participate in daily toolbox talks and follow WHS policies.
• Follow instructions from the Quarry Supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with site safety and environmental procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience operating front end loader, dump truck and excavator in a quarry or similar environment.
• Valid driver’s licence and White Card.
• Ability to obtain and hold relevant RII tickets (preferred but not essential).
• Capability to pass a pre‑employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol testing.
• Proactive, organised approach to work and use of initiative.
