Quality Leader Afternoon Shift

About the role

The Arnott’s Group is seeking a Quality Leader to join its Marleston site on the afternoon shift (2pm‑10pm, Monday‑Friday). Reporting to the Quality Coordinator, you will work closely with manufacturing to ensure food safety and product quality standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily release of finished goods using SAP.
• Investigate quality and food‑safety issues, collaborating with manufacturing and engineering.
• Support production through regular quality‑assurance activities to reduce consumer complaints.
• Organise and drive process improvements and continuous‑improvement projects.
• Develop, implement and maintain the site’s Quality Management System (HACCP, GMP, document control, regulatory compliance).
• Issue corrective action requests (CARs) and Quality Notifications (QNs) in SAP and support root‑cause analysis.
• Manage the CAR and Finished Goods QN system.
• Make decisions on product holds and releases.

Required profile

• Qualification in Food Science, Science, Engineering or related discipline.
• Previous technical experience in food, pharmaceutical or similar industry.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Well‑developed interpersonal skills and ability to influence diverse audiences.
• Highly self‑motivated with capacity to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Excel and SAP.
• Statistical skills are desirable but not essential.
