Quality Engineer

About the role

Contitech Australia is seeking a detail‑oriented Quality Engineer to join its Bayswater manufacturing site. In this position you will ensure that conveyor belt products meet the highest quality standards through systematic testing, analysis and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, plan and execute comprehensive test strategies and test cases to validate product functionality and performance.
• Identify, document and analyse defects, communicating findings clearly to development and production teams.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis on quality failures and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor quality metrics, generate reports and provide actionable insights for process improvement.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and operations teams to establish and maintain quality standards and best practices.
• Organise and maintain detailed quality documentation, test results and compliance records.
• Perform regression testing to validate fixes and ensure consistent quality.
• Participate in design reviews, providing quality feedback to prevent defects early.
• Analyse trends in quality data to drive continuous improvement.
