Quality Engineer II

About the role

Mitti by SafetyCulture is looking for a Quality Engineer II to embed quality into every phase of delivery, using data, automation and AI to raise the quality bar of its SaaS platform.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain quality metrics, dashboards and scorecards to make quality visible and actionable.
• Design, implement and maintain automated tests (API, integration, UI/e2e) that run in CI/CD pipelines.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to embed quality early in the lifecycle and improve test reliability.
• Experiment with AI‑enabled tools for test generation, coverage analysis, bug triage and anomaly detection.
• Build reusable frameworks, dashboards and AI agents that enable self‑serve quality across product groups.

Required profile

• Experience in software quality or engineering roles focused on modern web, mobile applications and services.
• Proven ability to drive quality improvement initiatives from planning through execution and measurement.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with engineers, product managers and data specialists.

Required skills

• Test automation frameworks and tools for APIs, mobile and end‑to‑end flows.
• Understanding of unit, integration, API and UI/e2e testing practices.
• Experience with microservices, distributed systems and cloud‑hosted SaaS.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern delivery practices.
• Interest or experience with AI‑powered testing tools.
