Quality Assurance Coordinator

About the role

The Quality Assurance Coordinator will support and enhance the site’s quality management system while working closely with production and quality teams. This role ensures that products consistently meet customer, regulatory, and internal standards in a fast‑moving FMCG environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Quality Management System and food safety programs.
• Assist with internal, customer and third‑party audits.
• Maintain compliance with HACCP, GMP and certification requirements.
• Investigate non‑conformances and support corrective and preventive actions.
• Provide day‑to‑day quality support across manufacturing operations.
• Guide Quality Controllers with technical issues and resolutions.
• Review quality documentation, specifications and records.
• Assist with customer complaints, trend analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with production and cross‑functional stakeholders to improve quality outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen quality systems and operational performance.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a Quality Assurance or Food Safety role within FMCG or food manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of HACCP, GMP, food safety and quality systems.
• Experience supporting customer, regulatory or certification audits.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Effective communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
• Ability to support operational teams and build strong working relationships.
