About the role

Bazlec West Electrical & Air is a family-run business based near Broome, specialising in electrical and air conditioning maintenance, fault finding, installations and project work across commercial, residential and remote networks. As an experienced electrician you will deliver service-based electrical work across commercial, private, remote and government sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Fault finding, lighting upgrades, switchboard upgrades, appliance installations, smoke alarm and switchboard testing and installations, and residential general maintenance
• Commercial lighting, maintenance, installations, breakdown repairs, testing and tagging
• Work in remote communities, from day trips to weekly trips, servicing nearby areas
• Quote on project and maintenance works
• Manage apprentices and liaise with team members to achieve good outcomes

Required profile

• A-Grade electrician licence
• Australian citizenship
• 5 years or more of experience, able to manage apprentices and grow professionally
• Demonstrated residential and commercial electrical installation and maintenance experience, working independently
• Manual driver's licence
• White card and ability to obtain a national police clearance
• Willingness to travel out of town for overnight stays if necessary

Required skills

• Residential and commercial electrical installation and maintenance
• Testing and tagging
• Low voltage rescue and CPR training (the employer will pay for it if you have not yet obtained it)
• Ability to follow WH&S policies and procedures
• Tech savvy and good customer service skills

• $60-$70 per hour, paid weekly
