Manager Infrastructure Planning and Assets

About the role

The Shire of Broome is looking for an engineering professional to lead its infrastructure planning, asset management and engineering governance functions. The role ensures the sustainable management of the organisation's asset portfolio and works closely with the Manager Major Projects to deliver capital projects.

Key responsibilities

• Infrastructure strategy and asset lifecycle planning
• Engineering standards and technical design oversight
• Property management
• Support delivery of capital projects through collaboration with the Manager Major Projects

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Asset Management or a related field
• Substantial experience in asset management, project delivery, contract administration and lease management
• Sound knowledge of subdivision and land development processes, engineering design standards and relevant statutory requirements
• Collaborative leadership style, strong people management skills and ability to drive continuous improvement

What we offer

• Base salary of $145,000 - $155,000 per year, plus location and housing allowances of about $33,000 p.a. and employer-matched superannuation
