QC Officer and Production Labourer - Precast Concreting

About the role
Protech is recruiting experienced Quality Control Officers and Production Labourers for a long-term, Monday-to-Friday position at a precast concreting yard in Darwin. The work is paid $37-$40 per hour depending on experience, for 8-10 hours per day, and penalties apply.
Key responsibilities
- QC / engineering positions: inspect moulds, reinforced steel cages and precast products, carry out material testing, complete quality and traceability reports and manage non-conformances.
- Production labourer: batch and pour concrete, assemble and tie reinforcing steel cages, repair concrete defects, strip and prep moulds.
Required profile
- Permanent resident of Darwin.
- Relevant Australian recognised trade qualification for the QC Officer role; similar industry experience.
- Own transport and a driver's licence.
- Pass drug and alcohol test and pre-employment medical.
