QAQC Coordinator

About the role

The QAQC Coordinator will join Monadelphous' PNG Operations team, initially based in Brisbane and later on‑site in Papua New Guinea on a FIFO 4:4 roster. Reporting to the Construction Manager, the role drives the implementation of the company’s Quality Management policy and ensures rigorous quality control throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the rollout of Monadelphous’ Quality Management system and policies on the PNG site.
• Oversee quality control activities for mechanical, electrical and piping (MEP) works.
• Manage product verification and project completion documentation within a structured program.
• Collaborate with a multi‑national project team to deliver compliant and high‑quality outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with welding standards and supervise welding activities.

Required profile

• Australian recognised Trade Certificate.
• 5+ years experience in a QA/QC role within the resources sector, focused on MEP.
• Welding supervision qualification (AS 1796 Certificate 10 or IIW Welding Specialist Diploma).
• IIW IWI‑S or CSWIP 3.2 welding inspector qualification (highly regarded).
• Proven ability to implement product verification and project completion documentation.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team‑oriented approach.
• Proof of right to work in Australia and a valid passport.
• Experience working in PNG or other remote locations is an advantage.
