Python Developer

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Python Developer to join our growing engineering team. The role focuses on building production‑grade backend services, REST APIs and cloud‑native applications on AWS. You will work closely with architects, DevOps and cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain high‑performance Python applications.
• Build, maintain and optimise RESTful APIs using FastAPI or similar frameworks.
• Develop cloud‑native services leveraging AWS services such as Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, ECS, EC2, RDS and API Gateway.
• Collaborate with architects, DevOps and infrastructure teams to integrate applications into AWS environments.
• Write clean, maintainable and well‑documented code following best practices.
• Manage source code with Git, including version control and collaborative development.
• Design and optimise SQL queries and work with relational databases.
• Troubleshoot, debug and enhance existing applications.
• Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work in an Agile environment with cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on Python development experience.
• Proven experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Strong debugging, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
