PV Engineer – Solar & Energy Storage Projects

About the role

Energy Bay is seeking a PV Engineer to lead the design and execution of solar photovoltaic (PV), battery energy storage system (BESS), and embedded network projects. You will work closely with senior engineers to translate strategic opportunities into technical solutions that meet performance targets and contractual KPIs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support the design and engineering of Solar PV, BESS, and Embedded Network projects from concept to completion.
• Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to evaluate project viability.
• Prepare technical specifications, engineering drawings, and project documentation.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery.
• Analyse and optimise system performance for maximum efficiency.
• Perform inspections and quality‑control checks to ensure compliance with standards.
• Implement innovative solutions to enhance asset reliability and performance.
• Manage customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support strategic growth initiatives and business development activities.
• Build and maintain partnerships with technology providers and OEMs.
• Assist the Senior Engineer in identifying opportunities to improve delivery and exceed KPIs.
• Organise PV work‑packs, maintain schedules, and mitigate technical risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 + years of experience in solar PV, BESS, or related renewable energy engineering.
