Purchasing Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Purchasing Specialist to manage end‑to‑end procurement across third‑party suppliers. You will drive cost efficiencies, uphold quality standards, and support both operational and strategic purchasing initiatives within a global network.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate competitive pricing and commercial terms with local and international suppliers.
• Manage procurement processes, including sourcing, purchase orders, and supplier follow‑ups.
• Identify and deliver cost‑reduction opportunities across products and services.
• Source and develop new suppliers to improve performance and generate savings.
• Maintain the Global Excellence (GE) process, tracking savings targets and reporting.
• Oversee MPPV tracking and communicate with global purchasing teams.
• Support sourcing of new products in collaboration with Marketing and Product Management.
• Ensure supplier agreements comply with company policies and manage supplier data via procurement systems.

• Proven ability to meet targets and deliver measurable cost savings.
• Strong negotiation, influencing, and communication skills.
• Excellent financial and analytical capability.
• High attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with a drive for continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Experience with procurement systems (e.g., Bravo) is advantageous.
