Publicity Coordinator – Entertainment Campaigns

About the role

The Walt Disney Company is seeking a Publicity Coordinator to support campaign execution for Disney, Pixar, National Geographic and other studio releases across Australia and New Zealand. You will help keep the many moving parts of a publicity campaign running smoothly while collaborating with internal marketing teams and external media partners.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain media databases and respond to general media enquiries.
• Assist in delivering publicity campaigns for theatrical and streaming releases, including influencer and creator engagement.
• Create presentations and slide decks to update the Studio & Franchise Marketing team.
• Coordinate local publicity tours, premieres, press events and media screenings (venue booking, invitations, RSVPs, feedback collection).
• Provide day‑to‑day administrative support: schedule meetings, arrange travel and accommodation, raise purchase orders, track budgets and report on campaign performance.

Required profile

• Experience in film, entertainment, public relations, media or a related industry.
• Budget management knowledge.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑changing environment and anticipate potential impacts.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Advanced Apple iWork skills (Pages, Numbers, Keynote).
