Project/Design Architect

About the role

We are seeking a talented Project/Design Architect for a full‑time, on‑site position based in Mermaid Beach, Queensland. The successful candidate will manage and design a variety of architectural projects, prepare and coordinate detailed designs and documentation, and oversee projects from concept through construction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and design residential, mixed‑use, and urban design projects.
• Prepare, coordinate and produce detailed architectural designs and construction documentation.
• Oversee projects from concept development through construction delivery.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants and multidisciplinary team members to ensure design quality and compliance.

Required profile

• Proficiency in Archicad.
• Strong project management ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of sustainable design principles, Australian building codes and planning regulations.
• Excellent problem‑solving, creativity and innovation in architectural design.
• Effective teamwork, collaboration and communication with clients and teams.
• Degree in Architecture with professional registration or eligibility to register in Australia.
• Experience in residential, mixed‑use or urban design projects is highly valued.
