Project Scheduler

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to join a growing organisation in the Power Transmission & Distribution sector in Perth. The role is permanent and focuses on developing, maintaining and communicating detailed project schedules for major infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, build and maintain detailed project schedules using MS Project and Primavera P6.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and stakeholders to gather project information and integrate it into comprehensive schedules.
• Ensure schedules are realistic, achievable and aligned with project goals and deadlines.
• Regularly update schedules to reflect current status, progress and any changes.
• Monitor timelines, identify potential delays and propose corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of schedule changes and keep all stakeholders informed.
• Prepare and present schedule reports, including progress updates, critical‑path analysis and forecasts.
• Facilitate schedule review meetings and communicate schedule status clearly.
• Identify scheduling risks, develop mitigation plans and work with teams to resolve conflicts.
• Continuously seek improvements to scheduling processes and tools.

Required profile

• Proven experience creating, building and managing schedules for major projects.
• Strong understanding of scheduling principles and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse project teams and under pressure.
• Proactive, self‑motivated and committed to meeting deadlines.
