Project Officer – Education Futures Institute

About the role

The Education Futures Institute is seeking a Project Officer to lead and coordinate the delivery of high‑quality professional learning at the Maroochydore Regional Office.

Key responsibilities

• Lead administration, organisation and corporate functions supporting capability programmes and initiatives.
• Coordinate bookings, travel arrangements and financial activities, including corporate card payments and reconciliations, using appropriate software and adhering to departmental standards.
• Liaise with senior management, team members, department colleagues and external stakeholders to provide high‑quality administrative support.
• Provide executive support such as scheduling, communications and correspondence, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

Required profile

• Outstanding communication and customer‑service skills.
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities to prioritise and manage tasks.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team to deliver outcomes in education.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with Content Manager.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Teams.
• Exposure to SAP is beneficial.
