Project Manager – Transmission & Distribution

About the role

Jacobs is seeking a Project Manager to lead the planning and delivery of Transmission & Distribution projects within its Energy & Power business. You will drive project success across the power sector, balancing technical excellence, commercial performance, and strong client partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams covering electrical, civil, structural, and mechanical scopes.
• Manage the full project lifecycle from planning through execution to close‑out.
• Promote a safety‑first culture and ensure high‑quality outcomes.
• Provide commercial management including budgeting, forecasting, and risk mitigation.
• Oversee project schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Build and maintain trusted client relationships to generate repeat business.
• Support business development and bid preparation with a strategic market perspective.

Required profile

• Experienced Associate Project Manager with a background in the energy and power sector.
• Proven ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and deliver high‑quality technical results.
• Experience on Transmission & Distribution or generation projects; substation experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated capability managing multi‑disciplinary engineering design projects.
• Strong commercial acumen, including budget, contract, and risk management.
• Effective project leadership focused on safety, quality, and team performance.
• Ability to build and sustain client relationships in a consulting or delivery setting.
