Project Manager – Security (Sydney)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager – Security to join our Sydney‑based Projects team at Johnson Controls. The role involves leading the full lifecycle of electronic security projects, working closely with customers, contractors and internal stakeholders to deliver safe, on‑time and high‑quality solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination, execution and delivery of security projects.
• Manage scope, schedule, resources, budgets and risk mitigation strategies.
• Monitor and report financial performance, forecasts and productivity metrics.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors and key stakeholders.
• Champion workplace safety and ensure compliance with WHS, OHS&E and company standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and provide technical guidance to project teams.

Required profile

• Motivated, results‑driven professional with a strong background in electronic security systems.
• Experience managing Electronic Security and Access Control (EACS) projects in commercial or critical infrastructure environments.
• Solid understanding of IT networking, network communications and hardware configuration.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
