Project Manager - Residential Metal Re-Roofing

About the role

A leading performance-driven residential metal re-roofing business, operating from the Gold Coast to Gympie and west to Toowoomba, is looking for a Project Manager to oversee several residential metal re-roof projects. The role covers the entire project lifecycle, from site measures to final close-out, and involves working closely with directors and operations leadership teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct site measures, prepare accurate take-offs and deliver costings within targets
• Manage material procurement and scheduling, and coordinate deliveries to avoid delays
• Oversee project execution while maintaining quality, safety and compliance standards
• Communicate with homeowners, insurers, trades and other stakeholders
• Maintain roof reports, project records and ERP system updates daily
• Track progress and ensure timely completion and close-out

Required profile

• Roofing, roof plumbing or another relevant trade qualification
• Residential metal roofing experience, able to complete site measures independently
• Insurance repair experience highly regarded
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects while keeping compliance standards
• Calm and adaptable under pressure, with strong problem-solving skills
