Project Manager - Manufacturing & Industrial (QLD)

About the role

TSA Riley is looking for a practical, construction-focused Project Manager to join its Queensland Property team and deliver brownfield capital works projects within live operational environments. The role covers building services upgrades, infrastructure renewals, refurbishment projects and asset sustainment programmes, working closely with clients, contractors and consultants to deliver projects safely, efficiently and with minimal disruption to ongoing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the delivery of construction and capital works projects within occupied buildings and operational facilities.
• Manage project programmes, costs, risks and stakeholders.
• Oversee contractor performance and coordinate site activities.
• Ensure works are effectively staged and delivered.
• Deliver projects such as building services upgrades, infrastructure renewals, refurbishment works, asset repositioning and capital works programmes across a range of sectors.

Required profile

• A tertiary qualification in construction, engineering, project management, property or a related discipline is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience delivering construction or capital works projects within live operational environments.
• Experience in a builder, building services contractor, facilities capital works team or client-side project management environment.
• Strong practical construction knowledge and site coordination experience.
• Sound commercial acumen with experience managing project costs, programmes and risks.
• Confident communicator able to build strong working relationships across project teams.
• Pragmatic, solutions-focused and comfortable working autonomously; industrial, infrastructure, building services, refurbishment or asset renewal project experience is highly regarded.

Required skills

• Understanding of building services, shutdown planning, staging methodologies and construction interfaces.
• Experience managing contractors, consultants and operational stakeholders.
