Project Manager – Local Government

About the role

Civica is seeking a Project Manager to lead software implementation projects for local government clients across Australia. You will work closely with councils, implementation consultants and engineers to deliver modern, citizen‑focused solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of SaaS/ERP software projects, from initiation through go‑live and hyper‑care.
• Manage project governance, including planning, RAID logs, reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Facilitate workshops, steering committees and status meetings with stakeholders.
• Coordinate shared delivery resources in a matrixed environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing software implementation, SaaS or ERP projects.
• Strong customer‑facing stakeholder management and ability to build trusted relationships.
• Experience handling multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities.
• Ability to identify risks early and drive mitigation strategies.
• Experience in the public sector or local government environment is highly regarded.
