Project Manager

About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Project Manager to support project management commissions, delivering end‑to‑end service for large or complex projects. You will act as the primary client interface, ensuring objectives are met on time, within budget and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic advice at project conception and guide the selection of approaches to meet client objectives.
• Plan and manage quality, safety, health and environment issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Establish and maintain effective project governance, processes and systems.
• Develop detailed project plans and monitor performance using KPIs.
• Manage change control, project finances and the flow of information between the team and client.
• Produce formal progress reports and facilitate cross‑functional team collaboration.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of client‑side project management experience, preferably in the corporate occupier (fit‑out) sector.
• Existing relationships with design consultants, builders and clients in the corporate occupier market.
• Knowledge of Australian construction contracts and Agreements for Lease (AFLs).
• Ability to manage and support a design team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Project.
