Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of large‑scale, customer‑facing technology and infrastructure programmes. The role requires a proven track record in managing complex, multi‑workstream projects that span infrastructure deployments, software implementations, security initiatives, training programmes and third‑party supplier management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex end‑to‑end projects across multiple workstreams.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies and resource allocations.
• Coordinate workstream leads, technical teams and external suppliers to ensure successful delivery.
• Manage customer relationships and act as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
• Drive project governance activities, including status reporting, steering committee updates and executive communications.
• Ensure effective project controls such as scope, change, risk and issue management.
• Monitor project financials, forecasts and budget performance.
• Facilitate collaboration across distributed and remote teams.
• Maintain compliance with security, quality and delivery standards.
• Manage dependencies across infrastructure, software, security and training workstreams.

Required profile

• Significant experience managing large‑scale, end‑to‑end technology or infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to lead multiple concurrent workstreams and cross‑functional teams.
• Strong customer‑facing project management experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing third‑party vendors and suppliers.
• Experience working within formal project governance frameworks and reporting structures.
• Knowledge of project delivery methodologies and PM processes (schedule, risk & issue, scope, change, budget & financial, resource planning).
• Experience managing geographically distributed and remote teams.
• Australian citizenship (desirable).
• Relevant project management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner (desirable).

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Project or equivalent project scheduling tools.
