Project Manager – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

Zinfra is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of gas and energy infrastructure projects ranging from $250,000 to $30 million for our ACT‑based client, Evo Energy. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for safe, commercial, and operational delivery of complex construction and maintenance works.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of gas infrastructure projects, meeting safety, quality, schedule and financial targets.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, contracts and commercial performance for projects up to $50 million.
• Oversee project governance, risk management and compliance with regulatory, client and Zinfra requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, regulators and internal delivery teams.
• Lead, develop and mentor multidisciplinary project teams while fostering a safety‑first culture.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Commerce, Finance or a related discipline, or extensive trade and project delivery experience.
• Proven success delivering large‑scale construction, utilities or infrastructure projects, preferably in gas, electricity or civil environments.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing project budgets and contracts.
• Resilient, collaborative leader comfortable making decisions under pressure.
