Project Manager - Hotel / Resort / Hospitality

About the role

Currie & Brown, a global provider of cost management, project management and advisory services, is hiring a Project Manager for hotel, resort and hospitality projects. You will lead project programmes, manage clients and develop relevant protocols, delivering projects on time, to budget and to the quality expected by Currie & Brown and its clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day client interaction and expectations, and build relationships through exceptional client service, internal and external
• Deliver the full lifecycle of hotel, resort and hospitality projects, from feasibility through to handover
• Act as primary point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders
• Prepare and manage project budgets, programmes, risk registers and progress reports
• Lead project teams and coordinate on-site and off-site activities
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget, meeting quality and compliance standards
• Oversee tender processes, contractor appointments and contract administration
• Monitor progress against KPIs and report to senior management and clients
• Maintain knowledge of Australian building codes, compliance and WHS regulations

Required profile

• 2-10 years' experience in project management or a related discipline such as engineering, building, architecture or quantity surveying
• Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field such as M&E/Civil Engineering, Architecture or Project Management
• Professional attitude to work, business and appearance
• Understanding of current industry trends and willingness to learn
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• Confident, energetic and ambitious self-starter
