Project Manager – Earthworks

About the role

McCosker Contracting is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead bulk earthworks projects in Queensland. The role involves overseeing the project team, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of works, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the project team and coordinate all aspects of bulk earthworks delivery.
• Develop and maintain program schedules, risk registers, and safety plans.
• Interpret construction drawings and specifications to guide execution.
• Oversee procurement, labour, and resource allocation across multiple sites.
• Lead tender preparation and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, standards, and company policies.

Required profile

• Industry‑recognised qualification in project management or equivalent.
• Proven experience in civil engineering and construction project management.
• Strong knowledge of the civil construction industry and current Queensland projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Current Queensland open driver’s licence and General Construction Induction (white card).
