Project Manager – Contract (2‑3 days/week)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a high‑impact technology implementation for a respected not‑for‑profit serving children and families. This part‑time contract (2–3 days per week) offers flexibility and the chance to shape project governance in a purpose‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day project governance, including reporting, risk and issue management, and progress visibility.
• Manage the relationship with the software vendor, ensuring delivery timelines and quality standards are met.
• Coordinate a small internal delivery team to keep workstreams aligned.
• Lead planning and decision‑making for outstanding scope items, including a key architecture decision for an in‑flight clinical module.
• Oversee integrations, data migration, testing, training and deployment through to Go‑Live.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering business systems, technology transformations or enterprise software implementations with multiple stakeholders and vendors.
• Strong vendor‑management capabilities and confidence engaging senior vendor contacts.
• Solid grounding in project governance, risk management, stakeholder engagement and change coordination.
• Experience in small‑to‑medium organisations or the not‑for‑profit sector is highly regarded.
• Exposure to clinical or health‑related systems and data integrations (e.g., HL7) is an advantage.
